The mission of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is to develop, promote,
and sustain a vital, thriving business climate throughout the community and
to initiate support and enhance the civic, educational, and economical well-being
of the area. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce provides members with a variety
of networking opportunities throughout the year. The most well known event,
Business After Hours, is held the third Thursday of every month (with some exceptions)
at different locations. These events allow members to circulate among members
of the Chamber. The Chamber also hosts several governmental luncheons throughout
the year featuring local, state, and federal officials. These include the State
Legislative Luncheon, the Winter Park City Commission/Mayor's Luncheon, the
Education Luncheon, and the Orange County Commissioners Luncheon.
In addition to these networking events, the Chamber has a variety of annual
special events: the annual Taste of Winter Park featuring over 35 food and beverage
vendors, the Fall Golf Classic, the Night Golf Tournament, the "Havana
Nights" Auction, the Autumn Art Festival featuring 140 Florida artists,
the Annual Membership Awards Celebration, the Winter Park Business Expo, the
Political Mingle and the Ye Olde Home Town Christmas Parade, held each year
on the first Saturday in December.
