Activities, Events and Rental Facilities

Each quarter the City of Winter Park produces a webisode featuring different aspects of our community. The current edition highlights the many arts and cultural attractions that call Winter Park home.

Parks and Playgrounds
Winter Park has one of the finest parks inventories in the Southeast - more than 70 parks ranging from a half-acre garden to a 55-acre park. Home to hundreds of community functions throughout the year, our parks can be rented, reserved or used for almost any activity.

Recreation and Sports
The City of Winter Park Parks and Recreation Department proudly sponsors athletic programs, leagues and teams for sports lovers of all kinds. Wherever your interests lie, the City of Winter Park has a place for you to kick back, exercise and have a little fun! It manages two boat ramps, two beaches, 23 tennis courts, eight baseball fields, two softball fields, 87 mini parks, two soccer fields, four major parks, five basketball courts, two swimming pools, one football field, one multi-purpose field, one bike trail, one fitness trail, five playgrounds, one croquet court, and a nine-hole golf course in addition to hundreds of programs, activities and events!  

Weddings
The City of Winter Park owns and operates several wedding and reception sites. Winter Park is centrally located, making each rental facility both easy to find and convenient to most local highways. All of the city-owned wedding and reception sites are located within a two-mile radius of picturesque downtown Winter Park. Winter Park is a premier destination for weddings and receptions and offers a variety of venues that can accommodate your special day!

Special Events
Throughout the year the City of Winter Park is home to many spectacular events. The City works with many organizations and groups, including the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, to create an annual calendar of traditional and fun-filled cultural events for the entire community to enjoy.  Some of the annual events include:
